Everything will be fine in Kedar valley within two and half years’

Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat on Sunday afternoon in a cultural programme organised by Dhaad institute said everything will be fine in Kedar valley within two and half years.

“We are working round the clock in all weather conditions to bring back the pristine glory of Kedarnath shrine. Nearly 200 workers are braving the extreme coldness here in high altitude area where the mercury dips to minus 5 degree Celsius. A helipad has been prepared recently where goods carrying big MI-26 helicopter can land and operate. The chief secretaries including other senior officers are constantly monitoring the development in Kedarnath. Now, we can assure that within two and half years, everything will be fine in Kedar valley. This time is less than the deadline fixed by centre. ”

The CM expressed hope that Dhaad will be an inspiration for other organisations to come forward to help the affected. He honoured the individuals and organisations who have come forward to take responsibility of disaster-hit regions through Dhaad.
