EPCH participates in Heimtextil, 2017

Germany is the gateway of the European Union (EU) and is economically the strongest country in the EU. It is the second largest trading nation in the world and one of the most important trading partners in Europe. Germany is the 4th largest country where Indian handicrafts are being exported.  The handicraft exports to Germany during the year 2015-16 was Rs.1146.88 crore in comparison to Rs. 1078.46 crore during 2014-15.   

Looking at the demand of Indian Handicrafts in Germany specially the textiles and home furnishing products,  Council have organized the participation of the stakeholders of the Narsapur Mega cluster and members in Heimtextil, 2017, Frankfurt , Germany (10-13 January, 2017) through India Pavilion with 15 member exporters in Hall no. 10.3 and 6.3 . 

This participation is organized by the Council in order to provide the marketing opportunity to the stake holders of Narsapur Mega Cluster. Shri Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director, EPCH, said that, the participation in Heimtextil, 2017  fair will  create the market integration and help in  direct market linkages with buyers. The participation will  also help the Narsapur Mega Cluster stakeholders to present their products to international trade visitors.
