Sanjay is happy to 'be finally out in the sun'

The much-awaited film Saheb, Biwi and Gangster 3 is finally set to release on July 27 and Sanjay Dutt – playing the antagonist, is waiting to see how the audience warms up to his latest movie.

While interacting with media during a press conference, Dutt shared his experience of doing a film of this sort just after coming out of jail.

"Well, the past couple of months have been hard for me and after spending quite a time in the dark (jail), I am happy to be finally out in the sun," he said.

"The role that I am playing is not just of a gangster but is extremely raw and different from any other that I have done before; considering I left myself in the hands of the director", he further added.

The film starring Sanjay Dutt, Jimmy Shergill, Mahie Gill, and Chitrangada Singh, is the third installment in the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster franchise.

The entire cast along with the director Tigmanshu Dhulia was present in Delhi for a press conference.

On being questioned about Dutt's image of dictating the directors working with him, Tigmanshu Dhulia, the award-winning director cut the allegations in between saying that he never experienced such thing. He said, "He never struggled with the role and completely followed my directions. No matter how many retakes it took, he was always determined."

Sanjay has worked with Tigmanshu for the first time and the trust between both of them is quite visible. Surely, the duo will make a great film.
