It's inspiring to see a superstar pick-up other's trash

She started her career as a model in few commercials with various brands and then made her Bollywood debut alongside Prateik Babbar in Manish Tiwary's romantic drama Isaaq. And now Amyra Dastur has taken a huge leap in her career by going international with Kung Fu Yoga which also stars Jackie Chan, Sonu Sood and Disha Patani.

"It was absolutely amazing. He is one of the most down to earth, humble person I've ever met and for a superstar to be like that, it's insane! Like I remember, he is so caring about the environment that he actually would pick-up our water bottles and any Kachra that was lying around and he would just put it in the dustbin. He wouldn't say anything. He wouldn't make a face."

"He would just do it. To see someone like that, picking up someone else's trash…its inspiring," said Amyra when asked about her experience working with Jackie for the first time.

Known for his acrobatic fighting style and innovative stunts, Jackie has been acting since 1960s and has appeared in over 150 films. So, did Jackie ever teach you martial arts? "I remember we were doing stunts and if any of us couldn't get it – Sonu, me and Disha – he would just stand there and watch and then he just used to come and tell us that you were doing it wrong and then he'd be like, okay, straighten your knee now, put more pressure on one leg and then we just got it.

After he gave us such advice, I was like Oh! My god and then I tried to learn some of the fighting moves and he was more than happy to teach us," said the 23-year-old actor who was last seen in Mr. X with Emraan Hashmi as her co-actor.

Recently, Amyra and Sonu sood were in Noida at the Skechers store. It was a treat for the audiences to watch the dynamic star Sonu Sood try his hands at martial arts. Dressed in smart casuals, Sonu and Amyra were spotted wearing super chic Skechers shoes.

During the shoot of the action-adventure film, Kung Fu Yoga, Amyra suffered some serious injuries, on which she said, "I hurt my back really badly so for 2 days I had to sit down and they were like, we'll use a body double and I said no, you can't do that to me."

Lately, we have seen many Bollywood stars trying their luck in Hollywood and on other International platform. Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone have been the recent gossip in both Bollywood and Hollywood. So, are we going to see Amyra anytime soon giving competition to the leading ladies of Bollywood?

"No, no, I don't think so. In fact, someone who really did inspire me was Priyanka and she is still an inspiration to me till today. But at the end of the day, this movie just came by chance. I mean, if any more good projects come, I'll definitely do it. But otherwise, Bollywood and South, India is my home."

Directed by Stanley Tong, Kung Fu Yoga is a Chinese-Indian co-production which revolves around Jack (Jackie Chan), a world-renowned archaeology professor, and his team who are on a grand quest to locate a lost ancient Indian treasure when they are ambushed by a team of mercenaries and left for dead. Using his vast knowledge of history and kung Fu, Jack leads his team on a race around the world to beat the mercenaries to the treasure and save an ancient culture.
