'Meant to be' is very close to my heart: Ananya

An entrepreneur by profession and a musician by talent, Ananya Birla took to social media on her 23rd birthday to announce and promulgate her second single. Titled 'Meant To Be', the song will be out on July 28 and is predicted to break the records of her international debut single 'Livin the Life'.

The song is an electro-pop single with distinctive sound effects and will prove evident of her artistic maturity since her debut single in 2016. "I have progressed and have become more mature as an artist and I hope people could see that," confesses Ananya, who enjoys playing guitar and santoor.

'Meant To Be' is very close to the young musician's heart. "It is about two people who sink together. Whether they come together, go on their own ways or reunite is what we really don't know as of now," added the young Birla who at the age of 17 found and established Svatantra Microfinance, a company that provides microfinance to the women in rural India. Ananya had earlier surprised her followers by lending her vocal finesse to the song 'Livin the life', which was later remixed by renowned DJ Afrojack. The remix by Afrojack made Ananya the first Indian artiste to get a worldwide release through PM:AM Recordings and crossed 14 million views as of now.

Talking about her journey, Ananya shared, "In life, all of us have different experiences. Everything doesn't have a reason. We can't always say why something happens in our life. Perhaps certain things are just meant to be." The heart touching song has been produced by Mood Melodies, the same people who produced 'Faded by Alan Walker' and adorned with the lyrics by the musician herself.

While her debut single 'Livin The Life' has already become a rage since its launch last year, Ananya is hoping that 'Meant To Be' will do wonders.
