Emraan a crime reporter in Rush

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi will be seen in the role of a crime reporter in his next film Rush. The actor said an attempt had been made to keep the character real but some level of suspense had been added to make it more entertaining.
‘We have tried to make the character as genuine as possible, with a commercial touch to the story as well. We have shown an authentic world about TRPs and breaking news and have added murder and suspense around it,’ said Hashmi.
Directed by the late Shamin Desai, the film also features Aditya Pancholi, Neha Dhupia and Sagarika Ghatge.
Hashmi clarified that his role is a mix of many but is a fictional character.
‘There are a lot of journalists who come to mind when you read the script. But it is a a completely fictional world,’ said the actor.
The movie is all set to hit the screens 24 October.
