Elizabeth Pena dies at 55

Elizabeth Pena, who recently completed shooting for TV series Matador, has died. She was 55. Her nephew Mario-Francisco Robles shared the news that Pena passed away 14 Oct at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA after a brief illness.Â
Robles broke the news on the website Latino Review. ‘We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and colleague, Elizabeth Pena. She was a role model, a truly extraordinary performer and an inspiration in every sense of the word.’
