Eight held for theft in trade fair

The Delhi Police have arrested eight persons, including two women, allegedly for theft, including pickpocketing, in the ongoing exhibition at India International Trade Fair grounds here, police said on Tuesday. 

In one of the incidents reported on Sunday, two women were arrested while they were trying to take out things from the bag of a Smriti Thakur, wife of Rear Admiral Kapil Tikku, police said. As a preventive measure, police staff have been deployed in civil dress at IITF.
