ED’s action politically motivated: Virbhadra

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Monday blamed some BJP leaders for “vindictive” actions being taken by Enforcement Directorate against him.

“All my properties, whether in Shimla or Rampur Bushahr are my family properties, inherited from my ancestors, and all actions of the ED to attach the properties are politically motivated”, he said in informal talks with mediapersons. Chief minister also took exception to clashes between the SFI and ABVP in the campus and asked “why these two organisations are involved in clashes?”.

“There seems to be some design behind the clashes as these have occurred on the eve of visit of NAAC team to tarnish the image of the University”, he alleged.
