The eagerly-awaited third cut-off list for admissions to Delhi University’s (DU) undergraduate programme was released late on Wednesday night, but it dashed the hopes of many aspirants, as most colleges have closed admissions in popular courses like Commerce (Honours).

Colleges like Kirorimal, Lady Sriram, Miranda House, SGTB Khalsa have closed admissions for commerce in the general category. There was some relief for  those aspiring to study science at some of the city’s prestigious colleges, as admission are still open in both reserved and
general categories.

At Miranda House, admissions are still open in Chemistry and Botany (Honours) in both the categories.

At Ramjas college, admissions to most science courses, except Zoology, are still open.
Students aspiring to get admission in English (Honours) may also find it difficult to get into DU, if they have not already done so, as seats have been filled at most colleges, including at College of Vocational Studies (CVS), Desbandu, Dayal Singh, I P College For Women, Kamla Nehru College.

However, admission in B.Tech courses like Computer Science for the reserved categories is still open in colleges like I P college For Women, Hansraj, ARSD , Keshav Mahavidhyalya, Miranda House and in Ram Lal Anand.
