DTU organises 1st convocation

Delhi Technological University (DTU) organised it’s first convocation on 11 January. As many as 242 degrees were awarded to MTech and MBA students of 2011 and 2012 batches and 92 gold medals were also awarded to students of M Tech, MBA, B E , B.Tech (part-time). Also, 33 merit certificates were awarded to the branch toppers of ME of all the disciplines.

Tejendra Khanna, Governor of Delhi, presided over the convocation. Governance Mehta, FRS, National Research Professor, University of Hyderabad delivered the Convocation Address. AK Walia, Minister for Delhi Education graced the occasion. PB Sharma, Vice chancellor of DTU presented annual report of the university.

Tejendra Khanna, in his address exhorted the young graduates to exhibit a high personal commitment to professional ethics and personal integrity  so that they become autonomous in the discharge of their duties with honesty and commitment.’ He also congratulated the board of management, vice chancellor and faculty.
