DTC to study market to boost revenues through ads

In a bid to boost its non-traffic revenues through advertisements, Delhi Transport Corporation will undertake a market sounding exercise and hold a meeting with outdoor advertisers agencies in this regard on October 8.

The meeting to be held at the DTC headquarters will assess the current practices of advertisements through <g data-gr-id="13">unipoles</g>, modern porta cabins, time-keeping booths, low-floor buses and facial walls of depots and terminals, a senior DTC official said.

The DTC presently owns 3,775 low-floor buses including 1,275 AC buses, 42 bus depots, two central workshops, 25 bus terminals and 80 <g data-gr-id="11">porta</g> cabins. The depots, terminals, <g data-gr-id="12">unipoles</g> and other properties are situated at prime locations in the city, the official said.
