Driver dies as truck breaks through wall and falls in drain

The driver of a concrete mixture truck died as the vehicle turned turtle and fell into a drain near Shanti Vana on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Jai Singh. 

The incident took place at around 3.30 am when the driver of the vehicle lost control and collided with a wall on the left side of the road.

He was heading towards Raj Ghat area and had to go to a metro construction site when the incident took place. Police said that the locals saw Singh was stuck inside the truck and informed the police. His body was dragged out by the rescue team of police and fire department officials after an hour.
