Dreaded ‘supari’ killer dead

Dreaded supari killer of western Uttar Pradesh Jaggan Pahelwan, 35, was shot dead by three armed men in Loni area of Ghaziabad on Tuesday. Pehelwan was reportedly involved in over 100 cases of murder and extortion of which 30 were from Ghaziabad district. According to the police three unidentified persons attacked him near Teela More police post in Loni area of Ghaziabad at around 10.30 am on Tuesday. ‘He received seven bullents in his body and was rushed to nearby GTB hospital but declared brought dead,’ said Arvind Kumar Yadav, circle officer (border). ‘We have 30 cases of murder and extortion against him in Ghaziabad. He was active in entire NCR, western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana,’ he added.
