Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has rubbished reports that he got the shooting dates for Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express advanced to September so that he could be with his team Kolkata Knight Riders for the Champions League starting 9 October.
‘No, please don’t believe what you guys read, write and show. I’ll tell you if you start believing the lies you only say, it’s going to be really bad for you. You at least should know,’ the 46-year-old said here in an interview.
‘It’s normal shooting, whenever we start shooting... Inshallah, in September. We were always starting in September,’ he added.
Shah Rukh also spoke about the importance of Independence Day for him and said that it means everything for us.
‘It’s a very proud moment for the country. My father fought for the freedom of this country so I take it even more personally. We should be very, very proud that we have had this opportunity and did it on our own,’ he added.
When asked what freedom means for the youth, he said: ‘I think freedom to think, freedom to live, freedom to believe, to dream, I think these are the freedoms the youth will want.’
Currently Shah Rukh is busy wrapping up shooting for Yash Raj Films’ untitled film in the next 10 days. He has teamed up with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in it.
Meanwhile, Khan’s daughter gifted him a bright coloured band on Friendship Day and the actor seems to be excited about it.
‘Got a bright orange friendship band from daughter and a black one from a lovely Russian family outside my house. Feeling friendly now,’ the actor posted on a microblogging site.
The 46-year-old, who is married to Gauri Khan, has two children — son Aryan and daughter Suhana.
