‘Docs should perform duty with spirit of service’

The chief minister further said that its always a moment of pride and happiness whenever a hospital comes in the area. The hospital is a way to serve humanity with the help of trained doctors. The chief minister took the blessings from Jagtguru Shankaracharya Nischalananda for the peace and prosperity of Chhattisgarh. Legislators on the occasion also expressed their views. Rajan Tiwari explained in detail the services available at the hospital. He said the 150-bed hospital has been been at a cost of Rs 13 crore.

On the occassion Jagtguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda, Vaishali Nagar MLA Vidyaratan Bhasin, Saja MLA Labchand Bafna, Durg municipal mayor SK Tamer, Bhilai municipal corporation mayor Nirmala Yadav, including other representatives were also present in large number.

‘Noni Suraksha Yojana’ launched

Raipur:
With a noble intention of encouraging positive attitude towards girl child in society so as to curb female feticide and maintain male-female ratio in state, Chhattisgarh government has decided to initiate ‘Noni Suraksha Yojana’ (Girl Child Protection Scheme). A provision of Rs 40 crore has been made in the budget of financial year 2014-15 for implementation of this scheme. This scheme would be operated by state government’s women and child development department.
