DJB transfers 22 zonal revenue officers

In an administrative overhaul aimed at better service delivery, Delhi Jal Board on Friday transferred as many as 22 zonal revenue officers.

The body warned the officers of its revenue department against any “slackness” in service or delay in redressal of grievances.

“22 zonal revenue officers were transferred today (Friday),” a DJB release said.

The DJB revenue department also launched a campaign at its various Zonal Revenue Offices on May 2 to address issues related to billing, which would continue till May 20.

“All the ZROs have been directed to redress consumers’ grievances and complaints in a time bound manner. The Board will take strict action against officers, in case of any slackness in service delivery and redressal of citizens’ grievances,” it said.
