Disclose names of PDS scam beneficiaries: Cong to CM

Main opposition Congress on Thursday accused Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh of protecting scamsters and officials involved in wrongdoings and demanded disclosure of names, who were benefitted from the PDS Scam of the state.

“The Chief Minister should take action against the officials involved in wrongdoings,” Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Assembly T S Singhdeo said while reacting to on Wednesday IG and SP Conference by the CM, where he called upon the state police forces to take action against the criminals and provide safety and security to the citizen.

Why Chief Minister is silent over the rape and subsequently shot dead of Meena Khalko in police firing in Sarguja area, asked Singhdeo adding apparently people were being forced to suffer of police atrocities as the Government was praising the faulty system.

The Congress party also demanded the Chief Minister to declare the names of the people, involved in the billion rupees Civil Supply Corporation scam, which is locally known as NAN (Nagarik Apoorti Nigam) Ghotala.
