Director of Cygnus Group of Hospitals awarded UK fellowship

Dr Shuchin Bajaj, Director, Cygnus Group of Hospitals has received the most prestigious ‘Chevening Gurukul Fellowships for Leadership and Excellence’, from the UK government. The Chevening Gurukul Programme is the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s flagship fellowship scheme for India and it is aimed at mid-career and high-flying young professionals from diverse backgrounds with a strong and demonstrable leadership potential. Dr Bajaj will be offered an intensive, 12-week residential course at King’s College, London.

The applications were invited from candidates who demonstrated independent and creative thinking, displayed ability to develop collaboration between India and the UK, often in complex and fast-moving areas, ability to work in diverse teams as well as individually and have the motivation to contribute constructively to the programme, having at least 10 years’ professional experience.
