Digitised technology to woo customers: Tata Teleservices head

Tata Teleservices (TT) Head-Enterprise, Prateek Pashine on Friday said that with global internet population growing at 18.5 per cent, TT has come up with various services on mobile phones through the digitised technology to woo customers.

“Digital Technologies have now have an huge impact on the enterprise business. The digital technologies are no longer used for only making calls but also help customers in various ways. Various companies now organising interviews of job seekers through social media. Application processes are done through digital technologies,” Pashine said.

He also said that the people can now fill up various online applications through digital world which help the customers get rid of the mediators. All the aspects of business like supply chain management, customer dealings, management works, dealing with employees through the digital system. 

A digital system has improved in such a manner that the parents of school going children can reap benefits of the technology. 

A mother can have the idea where the latest position of the bus carrying her son/daughter through mobile apps, which is a new horizon altogether.

Kolkata has been moving forward with many business friendly initiatives undertaken by the government such as simplification of government procedures, single window system for hassle less services for entrepreneurs. These have attracted the business especially in the MSME sector, Pashine said.

“Kolkata is an important market for us. The market here is fast evolving and we are witnessing large scale adoption of new age technologies across business segments. In Kolkata we are offering Multiprotocol data Switching (MPLS) Internet Lease Lines and Primary Rate Interface (PRI),” He said.

TT is one of the leading players in the enterprise space in India, highlighting 12 per cent in the enterprise business segment of Eastern market.
