Did we hear this right? SRK stands up for Salman!

But as controversy erupted over stars like Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt and others over their current performance at Saifai Mahotsav, SRK spoke up for his costars defending their decision.
The mahotsav was organised in the native village of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and he present there during the performances along with son and UP CM Akhilesh Yadav. The event took place barely 300km from the Muzaffarnagar relief camps where children of riots victims have been dying of the cold. Akhilesh Yadav, who was supposed to watch the premiere of Dedh Ishqiya along with Madhuri Dixit, cancelled the event on Friday.
Speaking to the media, Shah Rukh said it is unfair to target actors without having an idea of their motive. ‘I’ll just say two things about this. One, I will not take a moral high ground and comment on the reasons of my colleagues working or taking on a job. I think it extremely unfair. We don’t know the details as to why they have taken it or why they have done it, should they have done it.’
‘I can’t take a moral high ground, I’m a performer myself. At times I’ve gone ahead and performed not even realising that there are issues surrounding the area I’m performing in,’ he added.
Being Human donated Rs 25 lakhs to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital, Salman tweeted and Madhuri defended her stance by tweeting - ‘Whenever I visit a place for a performance or a promotion, I see it as an opportunity to help the locals in the areas of healthcare or education.’
