During interrogation, handler Abu Jundal said an attack by paragliders was planned by Le-T during 2010 Common Wealth Games held in Delhi. 'Recce of the high rise buildings near the stadiums was done so that a terror attack can be easily carried out,' an official who interrogated Abu Jundal told Millennium Post.

Jundal also revealed that Mohammad Adil alias Ajmal, who was arrested in November 2011 by the special cell for Jama Masjid attack, was also involved in the conspiracy of carrying out a paraglider attack during CWG. After an open fire on Taiwanese tourists, the next target was the paraglider attack. Ajmal was assigned as the main in-charge of this operation.

'The conspiracy to carry out attack on the foreign tourists before the CWG was to create panic in the foreign participants in the games. To help Ahmad Zarar Siddi Bappa alias Shahruk, IM boss, Ajmal was sent to India by Abu Jundal,' states the chargesheet of Ajmal.

When Ajmal was arrested by the special cell, so during the interrogation Ajmal gave inputs about Abu Jundal. Earlier, inputs of Abu Jindal was received by Mohammed Aslam Abdul Latif alias Aslam Kashmiri, who was apprehended from Delhi in 2009. Aslam Kashmiri had recruited terror operatives in Maharastra and Gujrat. He is a key member of the IM and was an accused of the serial blasts in Ahmedabad in 2008. The voice of Abu Judal was recognised by Aslam Kashmiri on the basis of which the agencies had carried out the process of nabbing him.
