Did CJM’s affair lead to wife’s murder?

Five days after the recovery of the Gurgaon chief judicial magistrate’s wife’s body, a special investigating team has been formed to probe the case.
On Sunday, statements of the deceased Geetanjali Garg’s family as well as accused Ravneet Garg’s
family were recorded. Sources in Gurgaon police said, ‘Her brother has given a written statement describing each incident of harassment faced by Geetanjali.’ Ranveet, who married Geetanjali in 2007, was intensively quizzed for around five hours and told investigators he had doubt on two of his staff.
‘Meanwhile, Geetanjali’s brother has filed a supplementary complaint alleging that Ravneet had an extra-marital affair that led to his sister’s death,’ official added. ‘Ravneet’s mother, Rachna Garg, and a female cousin Hina, who was staying at the residence of Ravneet since 10 July, have also been questioned.
‘The SIT, which searched Ravneet’s house, took into custody three laptops, mobile phones, along with other essential materialistic evidences. The police will submit its primary report within two days,’ Alok Mittal, Gurgaon police commissioner said.
