For director Guddu Dhanoa music plays important part in all his films be it Deewana, Bichoo and many others. “Music makes me feel alive. For me it plays important part as the script of the film. If music is good almost half the battle is won,” he told the Millennium Post while he was in city to
launch the music of his second Punjabi film Ramta Jogi.
He was accompanied by his producer brother Vijay Singh Dhanoa, main lead Deep Sidhu and Ronica Singh, music director cum singer Harry Anand and Labh Janjua. “The film has the promotional track sung by Sukhwinder, a song by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, a qwali by Harry Anand and Labh Janjua,” he affirmed.
Made under the banner of Vijayta Films, the film is scheduled to release on August 14. The story and the screenplay have been penned by Santosh Dhanoa. Actor Rahul Dev, zafar Dhillon and Anil Grover too play the important role.
“Shot in Mumbai and Patiala, the film is a love story and has a surprising ending as never seen before,” Guddu emphasized. “Currently my focus is totally on this film. Audience has loved all whatever I have presented to them till now and expect the same with this film too. Deep and Ronica will definately leave their mark in audiences mind as new love bird,” said the director who has launched actor like Shahrukh Khan. “This film will make parents as well as children realize that they should respect each others feelings and trust them,” he said.
