Deputy CM Sisodia asks secys to submit weekly progress reports

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has asked all the secretaries working under Delhi secretariat to submit weekly progress of various proposals or matters disposed by their departments.
The order issued on Monday asked secretaries to submit the statement simultaneously to the Lieutenant Governor and the Chief Minister.
“Every Monday or if it is a holiday, on the next working day, the secretary shall submit to the Minister-in-charge a statement showing the particulars of important proposals or matter disposed of in the Department by the minister and the secretwary and the other officers during preceding week.
A copy of the said statement shall be simultaneously submitted to the Hon’ble Lieutenant- Governor and the Chief Minister,” reads the order, while citing to the Transaction of Business of Government of NCT of Delhi Rules, 1993.
For long-term projects whose expected completion time exceeds one month, each project shall be broken into important sub-projects or milestones and timeline of each milestones be given at the time of first reporting, it added.
The secretaries have to submit the statement by 5 pm on every Monday or on next working day in case of holiday.
