Youth ransack contractor's house over parking dispute

GURUGRAM: Open display of hooliganism was again witnessed in city when dozen of youth ransacked contractor's house in late Wednesday night. The daring incident occurred at Model Town area after there was a tiff between the contractor and youngsters over parking.

The district police have begun their search operations based on the CCTV footages where the incident of violence was caught. The victim who was targeted by the rogue elements have been identified as Sunil Makhija. Based on the claims by Makhija, the whole incident happened after he had a tiff with a group of youngsters over a parking of scooter near his residence.

Angry over the argument, the youngsters came in group half an hour later and began to destroy his SUV at around 9:00 pm. Having seen his SUV destroyed, Makhija went to the police station to register his complaint. Shockingly, these people again came back and again began destroying the property of the house owner.

At the second time when the attackers had come to the house it was occupied by owner's wife and daughter. However, that did not stop them to commit acts of violence who also tried entering the house. For the sake of security certain police officials were stationed at the contractor's house for security purpose.

In October, Sunil Dabas, a Dronacharya and Padamshree award winner, narrowly escaped of being run over by an SUV by miscreants.
