Woman's earlobe torn by robbers in East Delhi

NEW DELHI: In a sensational robbery case, a woman's ear lobe was torn by robbers who tried to snatch her gold earrings after the woman and her husband was stopped and looted near Madhu Vihar Police station in East Delhi.

The bikers on the pretext of asking some address stopped the husband-wife duo on the bike and as they slowed down, the took off the key of the bike and robbed them on

gunpoint.

The woman identified as Poonam started bleeding from her earlobes when te robbers snatched the earings.

The men were on scooty and carried weapons with them.

They threatened the husband and wife and asked them to part with their belongings. Both of them were returning from Noida on the bike when they were intercepted by robbers.

The robbers after snatching the earings fled on the scooty leaving behind the injured couple.

The woman was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital by her husband.

Later, they called the police and lodged a complaint with the Madhu Vihar police station in East Delhi. Police has formed teams to arrest the robbers.

The CCTV of the nearby areas is also being scanned to know where the robbers came from and identify

them.

The police is also looking at the movement of the history-sheeters in the area who could be involved in this incident.
