Woman's body found in sack
NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old woman's body was found in a sack near the railway line to Sarita Vihar road on Wednesday. The body was seen by the passerby at around 3:40 pm and police were informed. The police reached the spot and inspection of crime scene was conducted. Body was shifted to AIIMS Hospital for postmortem. Injury marks were found below the neck of the deceased.
Police suspect the woman was strangulated at some place and later her body was dumped near the railway track. The cops are trying to find out if some biological traces of the killer are left on the body of the woman.
"During investigation, victim was identified as a native of Ambedkar Nagar and was missing since February 25. Her parents told us that she went to meet some friend but she did not return," said DCP South East Chinmoy Biswal.
