Woman stabbed to death by neighbour

New Delhi: A 40-year-old woman was killed by her neighbour in Southwest Delhi's Rangapuri area.

The investigating agency is probing whether the incident happened after the accused objected over spilling water by the deceased while cleaning utensils. Police said that on May 16, they received a call regarding the incident.

After reaching on the spot which was in Rangpuri area, the police team came to know that a lady, identified as Rekha, was stabbed by one Gopal Singh, who is residing in the same plot.

The lady was shifted to AIIMS trauma centre by CATS ambulance. The woman was declared brought dead by doctors.

The accused Gopal was apprehended and weapon of offence also recovered. The accused had some altercation with the deceased.

Facts were coming that the incident took place in the afternoon when the woman was cleaning utensils outside her house.

The accused, who was passing by, became enraged as she threw the left-over water. Although the following fact is being verified.
