Ghaziabad: Two months after a 51-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by two men in Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad, police have registered an FIR into the case on Saturday, following directions from the court. The accused persons tried to rape the woman inside her shop in Shalimar garden.

As per reports, the incident occurred on March 13 when the woman, a native of Shalimar garden area in Sahibabad, was sitting at her garment's shop.

"Victim's husband and one of the accused had taken a shop on rent and have been running a garment's shop in Shalimar garden area at partnership basis. Victim's son used to look after the shop while in his absence, his mother used to do this job. On the day of incident, the woman was sitting alone at the shop as her son was out of town for some work. Raj Kumar Sharma, native of Krishna Nagar area in Delhi, came to the shop and started talking with the woman," the reports said.

"Sharma suddenly took out his mobile phone and tried to show the woman a porn video and started touching her inappropriately. When the woman resisted and tried to run away, shop owner, Mukesh Agarwal, blocked her way and the duo of accused forced themselves on the woman. They even ripped her clothes but somehow, the woman managed to flee and reached her home where she narrated the ordeal to her husband," report further stated.
