Woman found dead in Dwarka house, husband missing

New Delhi: A 26-year-old woman was found murdered on Sunday morning at a rented room in Ambrahi village near Dwarka Sector 19 in south west Delhi.
Police suspect her husband behind the incident as he is missing since the murder and has launched a manhunt to nab him.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Amrika Devi. She lived with her husband, Shivbalak, and three children, aged between two to five years, in a rented accommodation in Dwarka.
Her husband is an auto-rickshaw driver by profession. The couple had come to Amberhai village from Bihar a few days ago.
Police claimed that the body of the woman was seen by the neighbour who told the landlord of the house.
Jaycharan (landlord) made the PCR call at 9.30am on Sunday.
When a team of police reached the spot, they found Devi's body and saw her bleeding from mouth and nose.
Police is awaiting for the postmortem report to know the reason behind the death.
At the murder spot, police team found their three children- two sons and one daughter.
Police sources said they are investigating from all angles.
During investigation till now, officials have learned from the neighbours that Shivbalak allegedly used to get drunk and fought with her often.
"A case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at Dwarka Sector 23 police station," said a senior police officer.
