Woman found dead in drain

New Delhi: An unidentified body of a woman was recovered from Najafgarh drain on Sunday. A PCR call was received claiming that a lady has fallen into the main Najafgarh Drain near Ghasipura, stated the police. Police immediately reached the spot and tried to rescue her.

"The lady was pulled out of the drain with the help of fire a brigade and rushed to Rao Tula Ram hospital in an ambulance with the hope that she is still alive," said a police official. On reaching the hospital, the doctors had declared her dead on arrival. Police further claimed that the deceased seems to be aged around 25-30 years.
