Woman among three held for killing former int'l boxer

Greater Noida: Gautam Buddh Nagar police have arrested three persons including a woman for killing a former international level boxer at his residence in Sector Zeta I in Greater Noida.
The accused have been identified as Imran Qureshi, his girl friend Shrishti Gupta and his driver Nafees, all natives of district Bulandshahr.
The accused woman claimed that boxer, Jitendra Mann, used to blackmail her with an MMS clip for three months and also forced her to have sexual relations with him.
The woman said that she had requested Mann to delete the MMS but he always refused upon which she killed him, said police.
"Based on police investigations and upon scanning the CCTV cameras installed in the society, we found suspicious movement of the woman inside the society on the night of murder. The woman remained in the society for around four hours during which she murdered Mann. Imran provided her a gun from which she shot dead Mann" said Suniti Singh, Superintendent of police (Rural), Greater Noida.
Police said the woman committed the crime between 12:00 pm to 4 pm. Three bullets were pumped in his head and chest.
"Victim's phone was kept on surveillance and the call details were checked upon which we came to know that Mann was in touch with the woman. The arrest was made on Wednesday night. We have recovered a .32 bore pistol, purse, key of flat, five mobile phones and woman's clothes which had blood stains," added Singh.
Twenty-seven-years-old Jitender Mann was murdered on January 10, while his body was recovered from his flat on January 12. He was a native of Delhi and currently was a gym trainer as Ultimate Fitness gym in Alpha-1 sector of Greater Noida. He had also participated in many junior level boxing competitions around the globe but left boxing after he suffered injuries.
