New Delhi: "Nirbhaya ke doshiyo ko faashi kab." This was written in placards which were held by people who gathered at Constitution Club of India on Sunday to pay condolence to the victim of December 16 gang rape. The victim's mother raised the same question that when her daughter predators will be hanged.

The event started with the lamp lighting ceremony along with a floral tribute to Nirbhaya. The audience kept a two-minute silence in her honour followed by a small video clip on Nirbhaya and a play on woman safety.

People from all walks of life including a politician, youths from theatre group, foreign nationals, the police officer were present at the club. Many of them were also wearing black band. "Every morning when I get up, I am determined that today things will change. But daughters are still becoming the victims of heinous crimes. To stop all there is a need of strong law against it. For this, the society and Government should come together," said mother of Nirbhaya. She stated that they will keep fighting until their daughter gets justice. "Nothing changed in six years," added the mother.
