Water supply to be affected on February 5, 6
NEW DELHI: Delhi Jal Board on Monday issued an advisory that water supply will be affected in the evening of February 5 to morning of February 6 due to installation of flow meter at intake of Khyala Phase –I UGR in 1100 mm dia, West Delhi Main.
"Some areas which will affected are Raja Garden, Ramesh Nagar, Khyala, Rani Bagh, Moti Nagar, Shardapuri, Tagore Garden, Tihar Village, Tilak Nagar, Karampura, Saraswati Garden, Hari Nagar and adjoining areas, Ashok Nagar, Mansarover Garden, Vishnu Garden, Subhash Nagar, part of Uttam Nagar, part of Mohan Garden, Ganesh Nagar, Krishna Puri, J.J. Colony Khyala, Ravi Nagar, Chand Nagar and adjoining areas, Varun Niketan, Rajouri Garden, Ashok Vihar," said the Board.
The Board further said that due to annual flushing program underground reservoir and pumping station, water supply will also be affected on February 5 to February 6 in areas like Pahari Imli, Mata Sundari, Mata Sundari Road DDA Flats, Minto Road, Pahari Bhojla City, Matia Mahal, part of Ajmeri Gate, Darya Ganj, ITO, Meer Dard Road.
