Voter awareness drive for IP University students

New Delhi: IP University on Thursday demonstrated the mechanism of EVM and VVPAT with the help of demo-machines during an awareness drive of EVM and VVPAT and a special camp for enrollment of left out voters. Professor CS Rai, Director, DSW, said that the special camp was meant for the enrollment of all the students of University campus who are eligible for the voter ID Card and did not make it so far. The purpose of organising this camp was to give them another opportunity to enter their names in the voter list and to prepare voter identity card. These eligible students were required to carry a passport size coloured photo to be affixed on form – 6 along with photo copy of identity card. Hundreds of students of the University campus actively participated in the camp.
