UP CM lays foundation stone in Gzb to kick off 25 projects

Ghaziabad: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday visited Ghaziabad district and unveil the statue of Former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. Apart from this, the chief minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for nearly 25 projects in the district worth Rs 325 crore.

Addressing public, Adityanath said that their government has kept farmer's interest at their first priority and have always worked for their betterment as the former prime minister Chaudhary Charan Singh used to do. "Our government has paid over Rs 44, 000 crores to sugarcane farmers and the last date to clear the debts has been set as 31st December. We will initiate strict actions against the sugar mill owners if they fail and they may also land in jail," said Adityanath.

The CM also said that Ghaziabad district has been selected for setting up a political training centre where village councillors will also be given training which they can utilise to develop villages in a better way.

"The political training institute in Raj Nagar Extension area will come up at a cost of Rs 168 crore. We have laid the foundation stone for the project and once it gets completed, it will give a unique identity to the district," added Adityanath.

The minister laid foundation stone for 15 development projects while 10 projects were kick started on Sunday.
