Two Thak Thak gang members held for stealing money from MP's car

New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested two Thak Thak gang members who were involved in stealing more than Rs two lakh from the car of an MP. According to police, the accused were identified as Sunder Raj (41) and K Santosh (34), both are the natives of Trichy, Tamilnadu. They were arrested from North Delhi.
According to police, on November 23, 2017, Jitender Kumar came at Kotwali police station and stated that he is working as the driver of Yashwant Singh (MP from Nagina Bijnaur, UP). On November 22, MP and his driver went to Bhagirath Place for marketing. While the MP was around for shopping, a person aged about 30/32 years knocked side mirror of the car and pointed out that some articles are lying outside the car. Thereafter, the driver came out of the car and nothing was found lying there.
DCP (North) Jatin Narwal tated that in the meantime the above person disappeared. After that, he observed that passenger seat was found opened and he locked the same."After some time the MP came and they proceeded to MP's residence. When they unloaded the luggage from the car, the bag and amount containing Rs 2.30 lakh, two silver coins of 100 gms each, one Mont Blanc pen worth Rs 80,000, letter pad of MP and other routine documents were found to be stolen," said
the DCP.
