Two separate murder incidents reported in Gzb
Ghaziabad: In two separate murder cases reported from Loni area of Ghaziabad on Wednesday, a man allegedly murdered his mother by hitting her head with a gas cylinder while in another incident few bike borne assailants opened fire at a doctor's clinic killing doctor's younger brother.
The first incident was reported from Anand Vihar colony of Loni where a 55-year-old woman, identified as Ramvati, was allegedly murdered by her son early in the morning.
According to police, deceased woman's elder son Yogesh told police that his younger brother Manoj, who works as a labourer, is an alcoholic person and lived with his mother alone at a rented house.
"Yogesh told police that on Wednesday morning, Manoj had an heated argument with his mother and allegedly murdered her after hitting her head with a gas cylinder. Police team reached the spot and arrested the accused while the body of deceased was sent for the post mortem," said Upendra Kumar Agarwal, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ghaziabad.
The officer further said that the accused had been booked under IPC section 302 and has been sent to jail after producing before the court. In another incident, four accused persons opened fire at a doctor's clinic in Giri Market colony area which killed doctor's younger brother.
"On Wednesday morning, four men including a son and father duo, allegedly opened fire at Dr Vijaypal's clinic while one of the bullet hit his younger brother Veer Singh in his stomach who later succumbed to injuries," added Agarwal.
