Two people injured in separate road accidents in Delhi

NEW DELHI: A Delhi University student was injured after getting injured from a bus in North Delhi area.
Police claimed that the accused truck driver himself took the girl to the hospital to get her admitted.
According to police, the victim has been identified as Tina, who is a student of Delhi University's School of Open Learning (SOL).
The incident was reported on Saturday morning, when the was standing near Vishwavidyalaya Metro station.
When a bus arrived at the spot, the girl tried to get inside the door of the bus.
Just as she was getting on the bus, its door locked and she fell on the ground. The bus driver was unaware of her falling and began driving the bus, subsequently running over her foot.
When the driver came to know about the incident, he immediately applied the brakes and took her to the hospital.
In another incident, a 28-year-old man was injured after he crashed his car into an electricity pole on Baba Kharak Singh Marg during the early hours of Sunday.
Police officers said that the incident occurred at around 2 am when a speeding Skoda car, coming from Connaught place crashed after losing control.
The car was reportedly being driven at a high speed.
As the driver took a turn on Baba Kharak Singh Marg from Gol Dak Khana post office circle, he lost control and swerved his vehicle on the divider.
The car was ultimately stopped after hitting an electricity pole.
