Two minors among three died in road accidents

New Delhi: In two separate road accidents, three persons died including two minor kids on Thursday.
The first incident took place at Sarita Vihar area of South East Delhi, where a truck and motorcycle collided head on near DLF Tower Sarita Vihar road no.13 in front of Indian oil petrol pump.
The bike rider identified as Gopal Prashad was crushed by the truck, who was dead on spot. The accused driver of the truck, Virender Singh, has been arrested.
In the second incident which happened in South west Delhi's Sagarpur area, two minors were killed after their motorcycle came under the wheels of a tempo in southwest Delhi's Nasirpur on Thursday afternoon. One of their friends was still receiving treatment. The deceased were identified as Firoz, 17, and Monu, 15, and the other victim was identified as Rohit. They were on a scooty at the time of the accident and were not wearing the helmet.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West) Milind Dumbere said the tempo driver, identified as Ayodhya, has been apprehended. A case of rash driving and causing death by negligence has been registered at Sagarpur police station. Firoz and Monu was studying in Class XI and IX. They, along with Rohit, lived in the same neighborhood.
