Two men held in different cases of molestation of minor girls

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Thursday said that two incidents of molestation of minor girls were reported from different parts of the capital, and the accused men in both cases were arrested within a few hours of the cases being reported.
In the first incident, a 10-year-old girl was molested by a cab driver in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri area, with Delhi Police claiming that they have arrested the accused.
Police claimed that a complaint was filed on Wednesday evening, after the girl informed her mother about the incident, and the two reported it at the nearby police station.
In the second incident, a visually-impaired teacher was arrested for molesting girls whom he had been teaching.
According to police, during a routine school visit by women police staff of Mukherjee Nagar police station, a few students complained to them about being molestated by the blind teacher.
Two cases have been registered against the teacher, identified as Awadesh Prajapati, who has been arrested and sent to judicial custody, a police official said on Thursday.
