Two held for ATM van robbery in Karawal Nagar

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Friday said they have arrested two wanted robbers, identified as 27-year-old Kuldeep of Sonia Vihar and 30-year-old Krishan alias Tota of Bhajanpura.
With the duo's arrest, a robbery case in Welcome has been solved.
As a result, Rs 3 lakh in cash, a motorcycle and a black-coloured bag have been recovered from the possession of accused persons.
On September 18, an ATM collection CMS van was looted at Johari Pur, Karawal Nagar in North East Delhi on gunpoint by unidentified men. The accused had also fired at one of the employees in the van and looted Rs 70 lakh from the van.
During sustained interrogation, the arrested accused disclosed their involvement in Karawal Nagar ATM van loot.
Based on the revelations of the arrested person, cops conducted raids at one of their hideouts. Rs 2 lakh was recovered from Kuldeep's place, and Rs one lakh was recovered from Krishan's place.
The accused had planned the robbery in a jhuggi near Signature Bridge, along with other associates.
