Two cousins arrested in gym trainer murder case in Noida
Two persons were arrested by the Gautam Buddh Nagar police on Sunday and claimed to have solved the murder of the Noida based businessman and Gym trainer Sajan Bhati, who was shot dead in his car outside his house in village Salarpur in Noida.
The police arrested the victim's cousin, Pradeep Bhati, who works as a property dealer and his accomplice, Aamir, who hailed from Salarpur village.
The deceased, 28-year-old Sajan Bhati was shot dead by 10 men outside his home on Tuesday evening.
Family members alleged that a relative killed the gym trainer over a property feud. The family members also registered a named FIR against seven people and three other persons. Working on this, the police began their probe and held both of them.
Arun Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, Noida said: "Acting on a tip-off, the cops arrested two accused on late Saturday night from the service lane of Noida-Greater Noida Expressway near Mahamaya Flyover. Prima Facie investigations have revealed that Sajan Bhati was murdered over property dispute. Our investigations are on and we are interrogating them further to know about the where about of their other accomplices."
"Police have recovered the car which was used in the incident from their possession. On interrogating Pradeep, the cops have also managed to recover the 9mm pistol which was used in the murder from a park in salarpur village," added Singh.
