Two commit suicide in separate cases

Noida/Ghaziabad: In two separate cases of suicide, a 22-year-old newly married woman and a 15-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves from the ceiling fan inside their house.
In the first incident, the woman identified as Babli committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan inside her in-law's house at Sadarpur area of sector 45 in Noida on late Thursday night. Police arrested her husband, Dheeraj, over suspicion of spurring her to take the extreme step.
Babli was married to Dheeraj two years before and since then the couple often quarrel with each other over small issues. Dheeraj worked as a driver in Kothari International School. The couple lived in a rented house at sector 45, Noida. Police said that the couple had a fight on Thursday afternoon as well and since then Babli was very upset.
"The house owner conveyed the information to us. The woman was put down from the ceiling fan by her husband before the police could reach. We have arrested her husband in connection with the incident. However no suicide note has been recovered from the spot," said a senior police officer of sector 39 police station.
In another case of suicide reported from Khora area of Ghaziabad, a class 10 girl student, 15, identified as Manisha committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan inside her house on Friday afternoon. Police said that the girl took the extreme step to end her life after she was depressed over her illness.
