Two arrested, one juvenile apprehended

New Delhi: Two persons were arrested and one juvenile was apprehended for killing an undertrial prisoner in Rohini Courts complex while he was being escorted to the lock-up from the court chamber on November 13.
According to police, the accused were identified as Praveen Chahar (27), Vikram Sehrawat (51) and one Juvenile (aged 17 years). Accused Praveen Chahar provided shelter to the accused Vikram Sehrawat and the delinquent juvenile. They lured the accused Abdul Khan into committing the crime and planned the systematic murder.
On November 12, accused Vikram, Abdul Khan and juvenile reached Rohini Courts in the Santro car. On the way, they consumed some intoxicating tablets and syrup. The photograph of the deceased Vinod was shown to one Abdul Khan and he was tasked to carry out the murder.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Rishipal stated that the desi katta used in the crime was provided by another accomplice of the gang who is a resident of village Bawana. Accused Abdul Khan, under the effect of intoxication, fired at deceased Vinod while he was being escorted after the appearance in the court. The victim died on the spot. The accused Praveen, Vikram and juvenile hatched the entire conspiracy and executed the crime.
