Two arrested for rape

New Delhi: Two men have been arrested in connection with a rape case in New Delhi area. According to police, the incident was reported on January 5 when the girl was walking along the footpath near Connaught Place from where the accused person started following her. Later, the accused insisted her to have a ride with him in his car swift desire that parked at Bangla Saheb Gurudwara.
Police claimed that the girl boarded the car in front of the Gurudwara and the accused took her for a ride and after that, he took her to Shahdara where he allegedly raped her at some unknown house. The girl was dropped at Gurudwara by the accused who gave her two mobile numbers.
The complainant approached police and reported the incident. After the identification, police nabbed two accused in the case. "The girl identified one of the accused through his WhatsApp profile picture as well as Facebook profile," police said.
