Top brass from BJP, Congress descend upon Gurugram

Gurugram: With few days left for the political campaigning to end in Gurugram, top leaders from BJP and Congress have now begun to come here seeking votes for their candidates.

On Wednesday Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar from BJP asked the electorate to vote for the candidate Rao Inderjit Singh who is seeking his fifth term as the member of parliament (MP).

On the other hand, the deputy chief minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot sought votes for the Congress candidate Captain Ajay Singh who is the six-time MLA from Rewari and is fighting his first General elections. In the series of campaign, the first was held at Bhondsi area where the Chief Guest was Rajnath Sigh.

At the rally, Singh emphasises that how the strong governance by the Modi government had propelled the economy of the country to a situation where it is now the fifth largest economy globally.

He also assured votes that one more term to Modi government will ensure that the economy of the country will become the third largest by the year 2030.
