Three youth drown, one missing in Yamuna river

NEW DELHI: Three persons died in Rohini district's Alipur area on Saturday.
Officials of the Fire department claimed that the victims drowned while they had entered Yamuna river during idol immersion.
Official told Millennium Post that the incident came to light after they received a call at 5.49 pm on Saturday. Immediately, a team rushed to the spot for rescue operation.
"We had sent one fire tender to the spot and our team fished out three bodies. One person is still reported missing and the search is going on," said a fire official.
After getting the information, the SHO of the area visited the spot. "We are sending them to the hospital," said the SHO.
Sources at the spot claimed that the youth had entered the river for idol immersion and drowned in the process.
