Three shot at by 2 bike-borne men in NW Delhi

New Delhi: Three men on Tuesday night were shot at by two bike-borne assailants outside their house in north west Delhi's Netaji Subhash place area.
According to police, they are probing the case from all angles. Not only the two men but also a passerby was injured as the bullet whizzed past his ear. The injured are being treated for their injuries as the police are trying to ascertain the identity of the accused persons.
Police claimed that the incident was reported late night in Netaji Subash Place when the victims, identified as Ajay and Rajesh, were smoking hookas when the firing took place.
The family of the victims has said that the bike-borne men were wearing helmets. One of the passersby who was going home was also injured during the firing and was receiving treatment.
Police claimed that during the investigation, the family has told the police that they were involved in an altercation a week before the shooting. Personal enmity and several persons, including the relatives, were questioned to get a further clue in the case.
"We have launched a manhunt to nab the accused and the case with appropriate sections of IPC has been registered in this regard," police said.
